    Every submission is played through before approval, so the catalog stays worth browsing.

    Approved beats appear in the catalog straight away, searchable by genre, mood, BPM and key.

What to prepare

Preview audio Required

MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG or FLAC, up to 25 MB. This is what visitors hear on the site, so tag it if you want it tagged.

Cover art Recommended

Square JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB. Beats with artwork get clicked more. Without one we fall back to the C401 mark.

Master file Optional

The full-quality file or stems, up to 250 MB. Stored privately — only you and C401 Sonic can access it. Nothing is delivered to a buyer without your say.

Beat details Required

Title, genre, mood, key and BPM. Length is read from your audio automatically. Tags are optional but they drive search.

The straight answers

Who owns the beat?
You do. Uploading gives C401 Sonic permission to list and sell licences for it. You can take a beat down at any time before it sells.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no listing fee and no subscription.
How do I get paid?
Revenue share and payout schedule are agreed with you directly before your first sale — get in touch and we will confirm the terms in writing.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes. Standard tiers are pre-filled on the upload form and you can change any of them, or mark a beat as a free download.
How long does review take?
Submissions are reviewed in the order they arrive. You will see the status change on your dashboard, and a note if something needs fixing.
Can I upload beats that are for sale elsewhere?
Yes, unless you have sold the exclusive rights. Do not upload anything containing uncleared samples.
